The suspension bridge crossing the Ohio River connecting Kentucky and Ohio. 1906 Love the steam boat going under
I love that Pittsburgh still has these, sorta wish Cincinnati still did
Cincinnati, 1900
Coney Island, Cincinnati, Ohio
Coney Island has been open almost continuously since 1886. It was closed from 1971-1974 when King’s Island opened. I find this impressive because there were plans to demolish it and it’s been a victim of frequent flooding because of it’s proximity to the river. Yet, Coney Island still remains.
143 years ago today, Cincinnati became the birthplace of pro baseball when the Red Stockings played their 1st game!
